Lawrence Laribee Passes Away
SMFWD Puller Lawrence Laribee passed away on February 15, 2010. “Pops” competed on the OSTPA circuit from 1991 to 2002. He piloted the rides Full or Bust, Outrageous Ostrich Hauler and Senior Trip. The 39th Annual OSTPA Awards Banquet was "one of the best" in recent memory as a record attendance of 325 pullers, crew, and promoters enjoyed a delicious meal and the awards ceremony. Once again Dan "Hogg" Hastings and Frank Keener MC'd the ceremonies as 2009 Champions were crowned. Both current and past pullers were honored as well as promoters and sponsors. Tentative 2010 OSTPA Pulling Circuit schedule announced. 37 Pulls are slated for the 2010 season!! Bring on Summer!
